A good follow up to the cell phone batteries post is one on cell phone chargers since a bad charger can be the cause of your battery melting down.
Like batteries, the charger market is full of low cost, low quality, junk units. Brand name counterfeiting is everywhere and these cheap knockoffs can easily fry your phone. As with batteries, it is important to buy from a trusted source and manufacturers that guarantee the charger will not damage the phone with a promise to replace it if they do.
