Charge Your Cell Phone Wirelessly With WildCharge

If you have always wanted to be on the cutting edge of accessory technology the WildCharge wireless charger may be the way to go.   The WildCharge works like this-

The WildCharger™ pad is flat and thin with a conductive surface. Once a cell phone or other electronic device that is enabled with WildCharge technology is placed on the pad – anywhere on the pad and at any orientation – it will instantaneously receive power from the pad. It is that simple. And charging speed is the same as if the device is plugged to the wall!

While this sounds pretty cool, a truly wireless charger is in the works from another company that if it hits the market, will be even cooler.  Initial tests show it will charge the device if placed within 3 feet of the charger.  No contact between the device and charger are required.  This Witricity as it has been termed is in development at MIT.  For now, the WildCharge may be the way to go but in the future, Witricity sounds pretty cool.
