The unit is compact but the 6 foot coiled cord provides enough reach for almost any vehicle application.  The light on the charger notes whether the unit has power or not.

The charging technology meets all OEM specifications and includes the smart chip to keep the charger from overcharging your LG battery.   This charger also comes with a 1 year warranty from Wirexgroup, the manufacturer.

We found the charger worked well.  We would rate it as a medium speed charger as it took a couple of hours to fully charge our battery.  The battery never felt hot during the charging cycle which was a good thing.  We also felt comfortable knowing the manufacturer is based here in the US and provides a guarantee their charger will not damage the phone or battery.  If for some reason it does (such as the charger is defective), they will replace the phone or battery at their expense.

While there are many chargers on the market for a few bucks less, the guarantee and reputation of this manufacturer made spending a couple of bucks more worth it in our opinion.

Features -

One feature that we miss is the answer/end button but for great sound quality at around $6, we can’t really complain.  If you are in one of the many states now requiring a headset for use when talking on your phone and driving, this is a great option as long as our phone has the 2.5mm plug.  Even if you just want to have a spare in the car in case you forget your regular headset, at this low of a price it is worth it.

Vehicle Handsfree kit HCA-60 requires Car Holder HCH-61 or HCH-64 and Sytem Cable is also required and is not included in the kit.

We though the unit worked well and provided decent sound quality.  It certainly would not work well in a convertible but in a normal car environment it worked well.

The chargers provide a rapid charge to your LG phone until the battery nears full at which time it switches to a trickle charge.  This trickle charge protects your LG phones battery from overcharge.  Compatible with some of the newest and most popular LG phones such as the Voyager, Muziq, Rumor, Flare, and Shine. 

Overall, this is a great product that provides a good all in one solution for about the same price as a separate travel and car charger.
